clipped from www.next-gen.biz BLOG—Early this morning it was announced that Gary Gygax, co-creator of the infamous role-playing game Dungeons and Dragons, died at age 69 in his Wisconsin home.

With the passing of the Dungeon Master of All Dungeon Masters, it is giving some of us geeks a moment to pause and reflect on all of the fun times we had with a game that required a small book, pen, paper, dice and a creative imagination.

Joke in the title aside, it is a sad day in the world of pen and paper games. I think I’ll go listen to Weezer and raise a pint to the immortal Gygax.
